    Hi
Was thinking of getting one of these.
How do they compare to ultrabooks say (which i would also be considering).

Could they replace a laptop (for word processing/document viewing, browsing/streaming, music (itunes), mail, video, not interested in anything intensive like gaming).
I like the portability and versatility (use as tablet or with keyboard) and was informed that responsiveness is second to none. Boot time i understand is practically immediate like ultrabooks. Obviously the windows appstore needs to be developed so i'll be taking this into account.

Interested to know if anyone has migrated from laptop to this and what their experience has been.
    Thanks.

I Have a Surface Pro and use it for my business. Its my PC, laptop and tablet. Downside is battery, though this has improved with version 2. Apps not a big deal for me.

Its so portable, I just bring it with me all the time out of the office without a second thought
