Fake. Registered in September using a privacy guard service. Using a gmail address as its contact. Having "ireland" in the site name. All alarm bells on their own let alone combined.

    http://www.nike.com/ie/en_gb is their Irish site

Get onto your bank in relation to doing a chargeback and also canceling your card,

Is it easy enough to get a chargeback with the bank?

You may get a delivery, but they'll be counterfeit. Customs may find and detain / later destroy them also.

Just contacted the bank and no chance getting the money back as i willingly handed over my details, it wasnt seen as fraud.

    I wouldn't accept that?

Surely the fact that the website is a fake means you have been a victim of fraud?

Was there anything on the site that made you fairly sure it was legit?

I am planning on making a sticky link on spotting dodgy websites and wondered what things people would look for, as they might not be worth looking at at all.

The name & gmail address are bad, all the twitter & facebook links go back to their own site.

Can add in everything, inc. new stuff being on sale which is never the case in a real store and that the products have no description what so ever (any real store would have description and sales pitches on every shoe, esp. a store like Nike).
