    It would be great to see - I wonder how many people have gone off to book accommodation already!
    There are so many courses deserving of The Open that are unlikely to get the nod because of the location and/or infrastructure, so it's fantastic news that Royal Portrush's successful hosting of the Irish Open could open the way to the oldest major.

    I think it would be unreal. Hope it comes about.

    Actually got tickets for this years Open. Have a mate living just 5 minute walk from it.

    Played it back in 2010. Not overly impressed as links go, so think Portrush would be better course and great all around.
