    Hi all,

    I have been offered a job in Sandyford ind estate. Could anyone advise the journey time, setting off about 715....I know I will hit traffic on N7 and will avoid newlands cross, taking the N81 instead to get to M50...

    I am thinking maybe 1 hour 15mins? I did it in 45 mins last Friday at 3pm..... Other job I got was in town so roughly same commute but would be on the bus.....but thats another story!

    Allow an hour as it's 90% dual carriageway and motorway. Personally speaking, I'd steer clear of the N 81 and go with the N 7 as you are talking about numerous sets of traffic lights and urban traffic versus Newlands Cross, which is just one bottleneck.

    I know bottleneck on Newlands is bad - thankfully turn off at Kingswood for my current role. Just wish they would hurry up and finish the flyover!
