I recently attended a talk given by Archbishop Charles Brown, Papal Nuncio. It was well attended and the lecture hall nearly full with a diverse range of people.
The core of the discussion was a talk around the Common Good, Natural law, Social Authonomy. He had been appointed by the previous Pope, so a measure of intellectualism, but he was encouraging for laity to get involved in the social issues of the day and drive change. A spirited, lively but respectful Q&A session ended the talk.
