I think it is strange that today fm are moving Classic Gold Sunday from the afternoon so soon after John Clarke was axed from 2fm. You would think it would have big potential to pick up ex jukebox listeners.

Heard Bob Conway at the time on yesterday and thought that he was standing in for Jim, but then the music he was playing didn't sound like what Jim would be doing.People were texting in asking about where is Jim, and I was surprised when he said that he is moving to the new slot.A bit odd to say the least.I dont know if he may lose listeners at the new time.

It will be a good show for people driving in Sunday nights, for some oldies which most people like.

However, if Jim is presenting it will remain recorded I presume...no interaction for listeners.

Would be good if John Clarke took over the slot, though I guess he has his RTE Gold commitments as is a member of staff.

What age is John Clarke ? He won't be getting off the mountrose gravy train until his 65th birthday.
