Hi lads I'm putting in an order for a new card in a few days and I just want to double check a few things with the experts. So I have my eyes set on this and I was just wondering if this is compatible without any BIOS updates with the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 and AMD Phenom x4 965 BE. Any help is appreciated!

    You should be fine.

That will be fine, I've used better cards in worse motherboards without a hitch

Hi guys, received it today and installed with no problem. But now I am having trouble with colours, been fiddling with settings for a while now but to no avail, colours seem saturated and quite dark but have been messing with them also. Any help appreciated.

Sometimes it can be your connections. Just fiddle with them to make sure they are sitting right. If you are using some kind of adapter, then have a look at that too.

Be sure your monitor settings are good also.

Using a DVI to HDMI cable. Fiddled around with settings some more and mostly fixed it, just red and green colours are really saturated. It's different from what I usually had with my old card but I'm thinking of just keeping it as it is for the moment as it mostly goes away in games (except for red chat and green icons in Arma 2/3). My monitor is a shoddy HD tv from Lidl that supports 1080p, been looking around for a "PC mode" setting on it but to no avail.

You could try removing the video drivers, removing all settings if you get prompted, then rebooting and reinstalling the latest version to be sure. Also look for the "digital vibrance" settingsin the nVidia control panel, if that's too high it make the colours really saturated, especially reds and greens.

Cheers mate, the digital vibrance seemed to have fixed the colour issue!
