Hi Folks my bike took an unfortunate fall and the frame since has a dent in the top tube. Personally I do not think it is much of an issue but I'm going on a longer trip through Romania and Bulgaria to Istanbul next month and so I'd love to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion.

I don't want to get a new frame, but I also don't want to risk the frame breaking in the middle of Bulgaria.

It's a Surly Troll, a rather heavyweight steel frame....

I cycled a bike with a dent like that in it for around seven years. It never gave any trouble.

As others have said,- no problem there.
Just for interest, a serious dent can be rolled out, see link
