Cao First choice

    Okay, this is something that I've been questioning to many people, and have never gotten a straight answer...

    Let's say, hypothetically you have 3 courses on your CAO (I know realistically you have more, but this is just an example)..

    Your first choice is 500 points, and your other two are 400 points.

    Let's say, you manage to get 510 (i.e. enough to be accepted into all your courses)

    My question is;
    Do you automatically get accepted into your first choice, since you have enough points, or do you get to choose from all 3 courses, since you got enough points for all...?

    Thanks.

    If you have enough points for it, you get your first choice no matter what.

    Even if your first choice was 200 points, your second was 400 and you scored 500 points, you'd still get the 200 points course if it was your first choice.

    Your "choice" between the courses you want to do IS THE CAO FORM. You don't get to choose again after that, which is why it's done in order of preference.

    You will never get to choose from the three. Maybe you are getting confused with the English system. If you get your first choice that is it, you will never be offered below that. However if you get offered your 2nd you could be offered your 1st choice in the second round if the points for that course drop.

    How could nobody give you a straight answer to this? Pretty basic stuff.
