This is probably the best place for this .

I have just received an AG-690MG Trail camera , but the windows install disk in the box was broken in 2 , Would anyone happen to have one these and could copy or set up a download for the install software for me.

I can wait for the seller to do this , but They can be slow to sort this out .

    Thanks in advance

    Actually I wasn't sure < i didn't buy it

but looking here http://www.irishforestryproducts.ie/ ..pricey enough.

From what I have used without setting up everything they seem pretty good, Decent image and very quick to respond. Can Take a sim card and email or SMS on the images to you.

Other than that I have no more info until I get up and running properly

I bought mine on DH Gate.com in China. It saves you a 100 /50 euros even with customs, they ship them free post dunno how they do that ,but it can take appx 6 weeks to get here.
Good? Yes they work and do as it says on their tin. However they can be a bit fiddly to programme via a prog you add to a micro usb chip, and only seem to work with the METEOR system.Battery life is good about 3weeks,and you do need to use rechargeables with them. However you can buy a solar panel nicad backup battery which extends it out to a year.Costs $215 US dollars for both the camera and solar panel from China.

Only thing I dont like on them is that you cant programme them via SMS commands from your phone or PC.It would be handy if you could shut them down during certain day periods or query its status,[battery life etc] or to take actual live shots or film footage. You can only do this by going out to the camera and reprogramming the SD card or setting the camera via its remote .Hopefully thats next generation. Also their housing doesnt impress me as being 100% waterproof .I got some condensation in mine during Feb which didnt seem to affect it working at all,so you might want to try and get them into an area thats not too exposed to strong rain.
They are worth their money and will do their job,and arent financially too bad a loss if discoverd.[There is a cable lock and steel box available too if that might be a worry ]
They score an 8.5 of 10 by me.
