Payments to BOI credit card

    Could you let me know how long does it take for funds to be applied to a BOI credit card when (a) transferring funds from another Irish bank and (b) transferring funds from a BOI account.

    Hi Pedro32561,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    A transfer from a BOI account, requested before the 3.30pm cut off time on a banking day, will be allocated to the BOI credit card before close of business the following banking day. 

    When it is a transfer from another bank, the funds will be credited to the holding account for credit card payments and then take one working day to be allocated to the credit card account.
