One that catches the eye today Ravens tower in the 3.00 ascot with David bass taking a handy few pounds off. Came from a long way back to get 6th beaten just over 5L in the Fred Winter at the festival. Ascots long home straight should suit perfectly and with normal improvement should go close. The fav Dawalan disappointed at cheltenham and although dropped a couple of pounds, with another change in head gear, i reckon hes worth taking on. The others here are all coming from races which are surely inferior to anything that Ravens Tower faced in the fred winter and while theres a chance that race took a bit out of him, hes had nearly 3 weeks to recover. 9/1 ew looks value.

Really, really liking the look of 2.15 Doncaster Justonefortheroad 6/1. Richard Fahey's 8 year old was beaten only a length in 4th in last year's Lincoln on his reappearance of a 14lb higher mark and he looks on a really workable mark from a stable in form. Well drawn in stall 14, hopefully the drop back to 7f doesn't inconvenience him too much and PP's offer of money back if 2nd or 3rd is very appealing.

Think Zamoyski will take all the beating

Could well do but Ascots stiff finish is a lot tougher than Doncasters flat track that he faced Lto.

As posted before all Richard Fahys horses should be followed.Balansiya runs 3.45 Leo,have backed her for Guineas/Oaks.She is a very good moving filly so the heavy today is totally against her.If she wins on this ground she will go fav for the big races.Waydownsouth has headgear for first time and will go on the ground for Pat Flynn/Danny Grant.Took 10/1 about Manchestar good start.

Thought Rogue Angel ran well at Cheltenham possibly without fully seeing out the trip.

Could be of interest if that hasn't left its mark in what's not exactly the greatest Grade 2 I've ever seen

It's Marakoush day. First loaded gun of the flat season. I generally take it easy this time of year on the flat, but the dogs have been barking a while. Form of its first run has been franked, and advertised recently with Deegans scooting up at Dundalk. Thought 11/8 was very fair.

Secret Witness in the 3:20 at Doncaster gets a small bit of each way money from me, it's a while since he won and the soft ground is a concern but he really should be competitive off this mark in this company.

Davy Russell has a nice book of rides down in Limerick today. Feenakilmeedy is the one I would pick as his best chance, good course form. Won pulling up a fortnight ago at even money in a C&D maiden hurdle. He rides Domination also in the Novice Chase but you could throw a blanket over 5 of the 6 runners in that one.

Has their been a stronger bloodline in recent history than the dynasty bequeathed by Urban Sea?

Bracelet now Oaks favourite, out of a daughter of the great broodmare.

Just got home and watched the replay. It worked out today. Might be one more race in him yet before the seasons out so worth following.

When the ground comes good to firm no filly will see which way Balansiya went.Im sure Weld is delighted with her run but again im sure she will bypass any soft ground engagements today was soft to heavy which suited Bracelet and she only beat her a length where Smullen was far easier on his filly than JOB was on his.Roll on the summer.
