Are you having reception problems? What is signal quality like (more importantly)? What size is your dish?
Maybe your dish needs tweaking but almost any universal lnb should be fine, as long as the dish is properly aligned and all the connections are good/clean and dry.

I suppose this somes down to what size dish you have and whether you are using a multi lnb setup or a centre focussed dish.

To be honest, 13E is obviously very strong in Ireland, but even with centre focus on 13E, you do need that a little extra (on a TD88 anyhow!) especially for the Canal+ HD channels which are very sensitive. The AGC and SNR is +10% with the BU's over standard lnbs, in my experience.

I know myself from my own setup the Ultra is needed on a multi lnb setup with the dish centred in around 14E on a TD88 for the HD canal+s.

Pay no attention to signal power. Quality is the important measure.

Unless you are having viewing problem, leave things as they are.

signal power is only 78%(not enough for vieving in hd) my dish size is 60 it was fine about month ago i could get 100% but nowe dish is rusty so maybe there is a problem or lnb is old as well about quality its only about 46%.

guys, check your dish alignment for high and low frequencies, not only on one transporder, also LNB skew is very importnant, I have no any single problems with 60cm sky dishes on hotbird with stock LNB which is avarage quality. Signal power has nothing to do here (especially if it is >70% regions)

ok i replaced the lnb and got about 15% quality improve but signal without changes so i think i have to change the dish and do some adjustment.

No point using anything other than a Sky LNB with Sky dishes. The feedhorn is matched to the dish.

What Channels are you trying to receive on 13E ?

    Mostly polish TVN and Canal+.

You will not receive the HD variants of the Canal+ channel with your current setup. The 8psk carrier on 11411 that carries Family HD+ etc is fiddly. You definitetly need a Triax 88cm dish at least (€45 for the dish, you will also need a wall mount). I am in the South where the signal is stronger and I use a TD88 and its about 80%. What receiver are you using ?

I would recommend that you put your signal meter on RAI 1 and tweak it to the max signal you can get.

There is a good satellite shop up your way called Sat Planet, go and get one there, their prices are good. They are on adelaide street.

A lot of people probably comment on the basis of the signal strength of the RAI channels (I would have in the past). Its only when you start using a Canal+ card that you will realise that you need a strong LNB/bigger dish for their HD channels. They definetly lowered the power on that TP over the last 6 months, no doubt rights holders pressure as they have english and polish audio streams on their Film channels.

The chap is using a Sky dish though in all fairness.
