Summer time begin at 2am GMT
I noticed this on the Humax HDR-Fox T2 PVT guide
A small sun symbol at 2am GMT

Don't see anything similar on any receiver I own, including a Freeview Panasonic PWT635 pvr.

Any TV, STB or PVR failed to change time to summer time?

In my case the Saorview approved Walker PVR, the time displayed on the front panel was 1hr behind this morning, no surprise there.

My Sony HDT500 failed to change to summer time so I had to go into settings and change time to GMT+1.

I have 2 pre-Saorview Sony TVs and they have an "Auto DST" option which automatically sets the correct time when selected "on". Is it available on the HDT500?

Endorse what the Cush is saying. I had my Sony Freesat/DVB-T combo Tv set on RTE Radio 1 at 1am this morning and just as the news started the clock switched to 2am and the EPG re-aligned correctly.
The only issue I have with it is that, despite a 7 day EPG on Saorview, it does show detailed programme info except for now and next (although it used to do so before one of the "tweaks" made to the EIT stream so time back).

Why can 2RN not have both time zone in the TOT or TDT stream data like UK freeview does.
UK Freeview have both UK and Ireland time setting while 2RN is just Ireland only.
Having both will sort this problem out for many STB, TV or PVR that are showing wrong time at the moment

    From 2RN Saorview
    TOT Descri ptors:

    Descriptor: Local Time Offset Descriptor
Country Code IRL Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 26/10/2014 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00

    From Freeview UK
    TOT Descriptors:

    Descriptor: Local Time Offset Descriptor
Country Code GBR Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 26/10/2014 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00
Country Code IRL Region Not used
Local Time Offset Polarity: 0 Local Time Offset 01:00
Time of change: 26/10/2014 01:00:00 Next Time Offset: 00:00

UK use both time regions, UK and ROI while Eire use only ROI time region
It would be easy for them to add another time region in the TS data.

I also notice that Saorview update the time every 10 seconds and the time different between TOT and TDT is 11 seconds.
While Freeview update the time every second and only 1 second time different between TOT and TDT

Don't get me started! In the run up to "live" launch of Saorview the TOT/TDT clock was anything from 45 to 60 seconds slow. I used to email RTE regularly to see who was in charge of the clock settings on the system. The EPG data for RTE Radio 1 had Val Joyce identified as presenter of Late Date, when that esteemed chap had retired years previously. They fixed it by launch date......
