Sorry just checked a link I had posted and I'd misread the measurements so wouldn't suit u. The gist was have you tried Ikea? :-)

What about something like this from ikea?

Or there's several variations on same theme.

Looked on ikea but the height is 19cm I only have 14 cm
This is the only one in ikea that is 14cm but only 50cm in width so even with two there is still 40cm left over. Would it look bad?

I don't think it'd look bad at all. I really like those drawers that pull out but they seem very expensive and as you say it's hard to get them the right height. Perhaps one of these would go with two of the boxes you found to fill the space if you really wanted to?

I'm just a big fan of those style of things cos they can be used again in another space when you're done with the cot. Perhaps someone might have a better solution though :-)

I am just thinking, if you look at second pic of drawer I wanted, the face (front) of the drawer is higher than the other 3 ends of drawer. Do you reckon it would be 4cm higher or if I took casters off could I make it up so it looks like this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B008MWCN58?pc_redir=1395600703&robot_redir=1

I like the idea so I've been having a look for my own cot too :-) this one is 14cm but quite a bit dearer than Argos!

I think if you too the castors off it would just tip backwards. The castors at the back are keeping it level with the front. Why are they mostly 18 cm though?? Surely it would make more sense to sell them in the smaller size so anyone could use it?

Saw that one in mothercare but it is 112cm and €80 whereas ikea is 100cm and only €16! My width is 140c. It is so annoying. Currently there are bags and bags of older age clothes hidden under the cot bed! Ikea ones for €16 are prob my best bet! It is something I never even considered when I bought the cotbed

Yeah €80 is expensive. It's really weird that they're not standardised more. At least if you spend €16 in ikea and they don't work out for some reason you've not lost much and you'd always use them again. At least that's what I say every time I go there... :-)

Yes and I wouldn't mind standard cot beds are 140cm x 70cm. And actually babies room is all decorated from ikea so it will all tie in! If I was to do it again I would buy this cotbed!
http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_97539_10001 €140 for cot bed and drawer bargain !

Nice! We got the cheapest ikea cot this week as baby outgrew Moses basket and cot bed is in his room and is huge!

I have the under bed Ikea blue 'drawers' they are handy - I was sick of looking at stuff under the bed a tidies it all up quite nicely.

Yes, there's not the best use of space but there are toys that I can fit neatly under the bed as well and I think it's better if I can push the drawers further in out of the way to temptation by the little one!

If you look at the second pic,
http://m.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/art/10215788/the drawers are under this bed http://m.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/spr/79028548/
I reckon they have it at shortest length of 137cm and it looks good!

They're the ones we use, if they're fairly well packed we have to lift the edge of the cot up slightly to pull them out, but since we use them to store things we don't use that often it's not an issue.
