    Hi,

I am doing a FAS course (1 evening a week). Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I will not be able to attend the last two classes. I plan to go into FAS and explain on Monday. I was wondering would this affect my payment?

    Thanks for any advice.

"Not at all" was this guy for real? I suppose the OP must know already but it's simple, if you don't go to FAS you don't get payed by FAS. Maybe if it's a bereavement and depending on the teacher you would be.

Slightly old thread but, for the record, missing evening course Fás classes will not affect a social welfare payment. Such classes are free to social welfare recipients but welfare payment not dependent on attendance/completion.

I'm guessing you didn't read the whole few lines of the OP.
