Part time FAS course

    Hi guys,

My name was down on a waiting list, for a part time course due to begin in May,as part of the whole Obair lets get you trained up process :),which is fine tbh as its a course I am interested in,

Got a phone call from the training centre at 4.30pm Friday afternoon asking am I available to start on Monday morning instead as they have had a few cancellations,no time to think about it given, they needed to know yes or no there and then,

As this has come about through Obair and the DSP I thought I better say yes,in case it affects my JA payment etc,

I dont have a problem doing this course early at all but I'm worried regarding how it will affect my claim/payment,

The course is for two days a week, for three weeks,Mon and Tues 8.30am till 3.45pm

Do FAS pay for the two days and DSP for the other 3 days? Do I sign off or do FAS organize it all?

It was two late to ring either the DSP or Obair on Friday after the call,so I'm in limbo and worrying, probably, unnecessarily regarding my payments.

    Any idea or advice guys

    Cheers :)
