Which one of these laptops would you recommend?

I've been looking at laptops for a while now and I've narrowed it down to these ones. I don't know a whole lot about laptops - my only personal preference is that it's small (ish) and not heavy. A lot of the ones I've looked at end to have touchscreens - and to be honest I don't quite understand the point on a laptop. Just seems like something else that could break.

The Dell seems the newest but the graphics are weak. Probably the best of a bad lot. Surely you should be getting USB 3.0 ports . & 1920 x 1080 res. screen for this kind of money.

Yeah I'd agree with you there. I haven't found a whole lot more online that wasn't either way over a grand (might as well buy a mac...) or was too heavy
