on the way to oz??

Just wonderin anyone any ideas of cool surf spots for beginners on the way to oz. Planning on taking a break for 2 weeks before i get to oz. Has to be on route an lookin for a surf skool for week an glassy clean 4 ft waves! Any one any ideas or advice if you have done this sort thing before?? Thanks..

Bali would suit you for this.
Nusa Lembongan just off Bali is also good with a friendly learner wave(playgrounds)
Possibly also Lombok maybe not so learner oriented.
Also the time of year you want to travel is very important.

Sri lanka also but not directly on the way from Europe to OZ is learner friendly with mellow waves.

Will be travel around the end of may wud this suit for these place is their surf skool around these spots thanks for the help

Kuta/Legian are in Bali will be good in May .
No end of Surf Schools for every budget.
Do some google searches and enjoy. 1st trip to bali is a blast.
Go easy on the Arak though
