I know it's late but is it too late for bare root trees? Some of my trees are starting to bud and a few opening up. Any advice would be welcome - ta

I'd say if you get at it fairly fast you will be ok. You have to look at the situation the trees are in at the moment, if they are heeled in in a trench I would certainly plant them rather than leave them. I might be misunderstanding your question. Do you actually have the trees at the moment?

No - I haven't bought any yet - but plenty for sale on done deal and I would love to plant about 30 around the house - 6ftish size! Thanks
