There are many candidates for this prize, but, for me, it has to be "men" in their early to mid 20s.

A toxic combination of the stupidity/insecurity of youth, and the growing confidence that comes with age, manifesting itself in an arrogant, insecure, petulant cocktail of p1ss.

    Your choice?

PS. For those offended by my comments and seeking retribution. I'm a 33 year old male.

Speaking as a 32-year-old male, I agree wholeheartedly. Bunch of tossers, that's what they are, those 33-year-olds.

Certain Mothers are starting to bug me. The 30 something lot and actually the slightly older Born Again Hippys.
Its this new wave of anti science yippy dippy nonsense that bugs me.

Theres the anti vaccine brigade who are endangering us all based on one discredited paper which most agree should not even have been published by a since struck off Doctor
Anti fluoride with a possibly good argument trotting out nonsense which has utterly discredited their case
Add to this their increased obsession with alt medicine (99.9 bollox) which is simply a fashion statement to go with their floral print skirts, head bands, dangly ear rings and pentacles

That anti-science and crystal-dreamcatcher-woolly-thinking pisses me off too, but I'm in that demographic. What to do? :(

I really hate with a vengeance 33yr old young fellas. Who do think they are with their fear and loathing of 20yr young yobs ?

From dealing with the public a few years ago it would have to be awkward middle aged women. They talk to you like a child and think the rules dont apply to them.
Everyone should have to work dealing with the public for at least a year as its usually people that haven't that are a nightmare to deal with.

So are you saying that neither age, gender nor combinations thereof make particular behavours and characteristics more likely?

Those young two year old bitches that you see around the park near where I live. They're always yapping away.

Are they trying to talk to each other or what?

    F*cking hate them all.

    Plus they're always sh*tting everywhere.

Half of them aren't even on leashes. I hate dogs.

Its amusing. I willingly gave up my age and gender, and yet people are silly enough to believe that they are somehow catching me out by commenting on it. Lol.

    Poor male 20 somethings...

Bunch of school kids on the bus, usually 14-16 years old, shouting down the aisle to their mates! Grrrrrr!

The dude said that males, aged 20 to 25, are "A toxic combination of the stupidity/insecurity of youth, and the growing confidence that comes with age, manifesting itself in an arrogant, insecure, petulant cocktail of p1ss."

If that isn't a sweeping generalization, what is?

go away and get a woman

I am loath to say this, however I am going to say this.

Teenage girls if they are hanging around in a gang, being screechy and full of OMG! and who are also very competitive and bitchy with each other while apparently actually being friends.

Do you think the dude actually meant every single person in that category or that there is a bigger trend for that behavour amongst that demographic?

Clearly I meant the latter, but some people expect an appendix of caveats and definitions with each post.

This is an internet forum, after all...

People love attacking generalisations though, which means you have, metaphorically, painted a bullseye on your forehead.

I personally dislike the 14 to 18 bracket as most of the ones I have met were so busy trying to look cool or hard, they couldn't have any fun.

Not to say I have not met decent folk of those ages.

I think what he is subconsciously trying to ask, is it normal to feel intimidated by groups of younger people, now that he has to face the world,, pretty much on his own. I'd say yes, its normal to feel a bit insecure at that age .
Maybe there's more to the opening post , than a stick to beat him with .
I'll be 43 soon. Time to bash my age group. Go on .
