    Hi everyone,
My name is Danny and I used to be a plumber but went to college after the crash. I am in final year of doing a social science degree in NUI Maynooth.
As part of my degree I am carrying out research looking at stay at men who used to work in construction but who because of the high price of childcare, have taken on the role of stay at home dads.
I wish to look at how men see themselves in this role and how other people see them. I was in a play group with my son one day and an old lady came over to me and attacked me for being lazy because I was not at work. This is what I am interested in.
I know a few of the people i used to work with are in this situation, having a mortgage, and the price of childcare being so high, that it just made financial sense to give up looking for work and look after the kids. I bring my little fella to college the days I am in and look after him the rest of the days, as my partner is working.
Anyway I was wondering if there are any men in hear in this situation who would be willing to be interviewed as part of my research? I can be totally anonymous if that would be preferred.
    Thanks in advance, Danny
