    Hi,

Just a query on teaching practice - I have to do 100 hours in 2 different centres as part of my HDip in Further Education, how does one apply to these places, is it best to phone, go in in person or via email/letter?

    Thanks in advance ;)

I would recommend going in to the school. Ask to see the Principal. Don't let the secretary put you off.

I was in the same boat this time last year (although I only needed one school). I would go in, in person, and ask for the principal and hand him a CV. I did this last year and I sent out email applications. In the end it was the school that I applied to via email that took me on my TP. I think of either of these is fine - email is fairly standard practice now.
