I'm looking to buy a diesel on a tight budget of about 3k that has space for 2 baby car seats. Trying to stay clear of Renault Scenics as I've heard bad things. Does anyone know if a Ford Focus would have the space. Thanks

You should get a Volvo S40 or S60 for that price. Models after 2006 came with isofix as standard(probably out of your budget) but older models can be retrofitted for cheap enough.

I'd stick with a hatchback for practicality especially the gear that needs to go with 2 young children. Something like a Skoda Octavia but on a budget of €3k you will be looking at diesels with hefty mileage on them that may need further money spent on them.

    Something like this one:

There a nice car but I wouldn't buy for 3k it'll only cause you trouble the octavia is a far better bet. We have a 05 1.9tdi and it causes zero trouble.
