    Hi all,
I have an 2000 Hyundai Trajet and the rear fog lights are not working, as in neither of the bulbs light up and even the button does not light when pressed. As far as I can see the fuses are all ok. It was recently put through the nct and the fogs lights were one of the issues it failed on.

Anybody had a similar problem before or any suggestions as to what I could possible do to fix it?

Have you got a tow bar fitted? The socket for the trailer board has a cut-out switch which often sticks after you disconnect the plug from the trailer.

    No tow bar fitted.

The problem is half fixed at the moment. Firstly after checking all the fuses and bulbs i decided to take a look at the switch. It turned out that the switch was actually disconnected.

Now that the switch is reconnected it lights up when I switch on my headlights but nothing happens. So my thinking now is that the switch is broken, it doesnt seem to click when it is pressed. When I get a chance I will be taking a look at it further and I might even try source a replacement to see if that helps.
