Help my hair grow!

I've had a bob of some sort for about 15 years and now I really want hair that actually goes past my shoulders...to give you context, I had long hair until about 14 and went to a hairdresser for a cut; and came out with the most horrific haircut you could give a self conscious teen girl; one that looked like a jason donavon mushroom hairstyle. Anyways, for years there were no straighteners so I prevailed and have had various bob styles since.

So... Ive stopped cutting it. I WILL get a thinning out/trim at the back as the back grows WAY faster than the front and I don't suit an unshapen mullet

I'm drinking more water, having sea kelp and zinc tablets as well as my usual calcium and Vit D, eating healthier (Im a veggie), using Lee Stafford Hair Growth treatment as it was on 3 for 2.. washing hair half the time I used to (about 4 times a week now) and using straighteners less; even tho I am at the mushroom stage now!

Would appreciate any tips advice on what will help growth and strength!

Castor oil is supposed to be great for growing hair if applied directly to your scalp but I find it makes my head ridiculously itchy so I mix it in with coconut oil and then apply pure coconut oil to the lengths
