Im a 27 year old lad, and last year or 2. When I wet shave It always looks like I have a mustache still even after shaving.

Anyone any ideas or tips, as it does not suit me at all

Not sure if this helps but here is my theory for those who feel pre-wet-shaving lasted longer:

You'll also manage a closer shave as your technique improves. Take a close look at how your beard grows. Mine changes direction on my neck so while a vertical action is with the grain for my face I'm inadvertently going across the grain on my neck. I notice a better level of closeness going with the grain as opposed to across the grain.

What sort of razor are you using? Changing your razor or shaving cream might be something to try.

Are you shaving upwards, as in against the grain? This would certainly give you a much closer shave, and reduce that look.
