Points in relation to an Arts course.

    Hey, i have a quick question about the points in relation to Arts in NUIG. It says for Arts that the points are 300-615 and vary on what subjects you choose. Now I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and will more then likely just get over 300 points in the leaving. What's the likely hood of me getting accepted in to Arts with these points? The subjects i am interested in studying are history, archaeology, classics and IT if it matters.

    Minimum points to get onto arts last year was 300 which means the last person to get a place had 300 points while the person with best points to accept a place got 605.
    The points will not go up by much from 300, maybe 5 points and in extreme case 10-15 points but unlikely.
    If you get around 300-310 you should get arts
    Arts only varies CAO points wise if you are doing the specific courses like Arts with Creative Writing, Arts with journalism etc.
