Thinking of buying one of these, the price of them is whats making it tempting, what are the known issues with them and what is there to look out for?

I had an 06 2.0 tdci, it was grand except the fuel pump packed in and wrecked the injectors and fuel lines, was sore on rear brakes and handbrake cables, I'd avoid unless the pump/injectors have been replaced.

Hi make sure cluth and flywheel have been changed also as these were bad new ones will last better also they tend to go around the 60k miles 100k kilometers. They are a common fault so around €600 to replace.

Drive and get checked over by a mechanic before cash leaves your pocket.

I like them and still think they look good for there age and they are a lot of car for the cheap prices they re going for.

The tdci is very troublesome with injectors fuelpumps i have a 01 duratorq engine which is bullet proof but a few friends had newer tdci and they all suffered with them all expensive problems.
