Going to be sanding down the bedroom floor boards shortly...want to get a medium oak finish on them...any suggestions for a recommendation On previous floors I used woodstain and finished with regular clear varnish, or just clear varnish on sanded wood and they have stood the test of time. On previous floors I used woodstain and finished with regular clear varnish, or just clear varnish on sanded wood and they have stood the test of time.

I see Ronseal have a product called Perfect Finish Diamond Hard Floor Varnish in a medium oak.
