Hi does anybody know how long Disability Allowance Appeals are taking now. I know they changed the process in order to speed things up but I can't find the info. Can somebody let me know how long the Appeal takes with and without an Oral hearing?

    Thanks in advance

I sent mine for Appeal in November, got a letter in January to say they had recieved it and finally got a reply on 15th April.
Sent it off last June , was refused, sent back again and finally in November it went to the Appeals

So its about six months then? I got my letter a week after I send my appeal sent off. Were you successful in your appeal Jack? Also did they ask you for more info like bank accounts and such on appeal? I just want to make sure I have everything ready in case they ask.

I first applied in Jan and gave them all my financial documents. They refused in March and I sent the appeal off right away. I sent a copy of my appeal to Dublin and Longford and got the letter back from Dublin appeal office.

This whole process is very stressful.

Thanks for replying to my post Jack:)
