    Hi folks
I have a two-panel evacuated tube system, heating water.

It has air in the system with 1bar and not circulating. I suspect a leak at the panel connectors.

Can someone recommend a good maintenance company/person in the cork (Glanmire) area please?

    Thanks!

You will probably find that it will not be caused by a leak, especially if you have corrugated piping between the manifold & the pump station. Systems that were not properly purged upon installation rarely remove any microscopic air from the system. Even with a built-in de-aerator in the pump station, systems can take a number of years for the issue to arise, especially after the hot weather we had last summer. It eventually releases from the corrugated spines of the pipework & ends up at the highest point, i.e. the roof manifold, the system pump not being strong enough leads to either failure of circulation or noise in the circulatory pipework.

    Hi

Would you all recommend solar panels? I am thinking of having them installed and at the moment am on the fence about them. Alot of people are saying people don't bother with them anymore that there is no point, at the moment I think it would be a great idea to always have hot water?? Correct me if I am being niaive...

Can anyone recommend if a pressurised system or gravity fed is better with solar?
    Thanks
