Diamond Version is a collaborative project between two of the most groundbreaking, experimental and forward thinking creators in modern music, Carsten Nicolai (Alva Noto) and Olaf Bender (Byetone).

As artists and joint heads of the Raster-Noton label, they have been releasing work that spectacularly blurs the lines between the visceral and the conceptual, bridging the gap between gallery and dancefloor.

The Irish premiere of this post-techno audio/visual show will be held in The Button Factory, Dublin on Saturday May 24th, with some talks held by the duo earlier in the evening in the Goethe Institut. They have also agreed to DJ until the end of the night, making this a rare opportunity to catch the Raster-Noton chiefs keep the floor moving until close with their favourite selections.

The talk will be held in the Goethe Institut on Merrion Square at 7pm and will be presented by Bernard Clarke (Nova - Lyric Fm).

If you're interested in attending that you'd be advised to pick up your ticket soon.

Bernard will be doing a Raster-Noton special show from 8 - 10pm tomorrow evening on Lyric as a preview to the gig.
