Recommendations for restaurants in Birr please

    Ok, title says it all.
    Anyone know wheres nice to eat in Birr town? Won't be driving, so will have to be in the town itself.

    county arms hotel 5 minute walk from town center i see spinners is open again
    the thatch and the riverbank which is now known as parkers are very good
    but are a nice walk from the town center.. a taxi wouldnt cost much

    There's a nice Indian down the end of the Main Street...basic enuf looking spot but the foods yummy

    Is it just me or is main street Birr crying out for a decent Irish/European restaurant,apart from a couple of Chinese and Indian restaurants there's nothing.

    too late for you now perhaps, but a taxi hop away, there is a nice place in Crinkle.
