adult leaving cert JSA question

so im loking to apply for an adult leaving cert course. i am 23 and receiving 168 per week jobseekers allowance. im wondering how much ill receive per week on the course. the same? would i get any extras? my brother got extra money every month while doing some course.

You'll get the same amount as you are receiving now. It was the case that those on Back to Education Allowance and VTOS were upped to the maximum payment but that was changed for new entrants a couple of Budgets ago.

thats fine. just was a bit worried i would go onto the new lowered rate of 100 euro during or after the course.
