Spending all my money on eating out.

I basically eat out about 8 or 9 times a week. I'm not fat but the main problem is the expense. I don't have a huge amount of money but I'll put it like this, I would prefer to go around to different pubs/restaurants to eat than go around drinking in them. Many people out there like me?

I use the toilet several times a day. I prefer to do it at home, if at all possible. I have nicer toilet paper than one usually finds in public facilities. It's expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

If you are interested in food you should try cooking yourself. Fraction of the cost and you'll probably enjoy yourself a lot more also.

How much do you reckon you spend a week?

At least you are out and about and enjoying yourself.

Not your usual coarse stuff that's found in less salubrious premises. Am on a bit of a saving spree these days myself so I try to limit it to one visit every two days (all water is metered here). I always carry around a plastic bottle - just in case and I use the compost heap and a water-lily weather permitting. I find that the wind through my hair and the added frisson (of being spotted by a bored ornithologist) well worth it. Plus my rhubarb is coming along great. :)

That's more than a little excessive. Try cutting it down to 2 or 3 times a week instead? learn to cook a few meals yourself, and you should be better off financially in the long run

I eat out every single day....I'm in a real rut with it. It's not too expensive where I am. It's about 8 or 9 euro a day. I've been balls to the wall busy for the last 3 or 4 years. When I was in first and second year of college, I cooked every day. After that, I cooked most days. Then eventually a few years into working. Never cooked.

You too can be like. PM me for my - UTTERLY discounted, and SERVERLY limited HOW TO NOT EAT OUT OR DRINK TOO MUCH COFFEE EVERY DAY reply PM, normally worth $1,425.23 but yours for the shockingly low price of 60€.

I was once like this too.

Then I became a fatass with no money.

I eat out maybe once a month now as a threat, everything else is home cooked, it's WAY healthier and cheaper.

OP, you're doing the right thing, as far as it goes. The Capitalists have ensured that the cost of raw food and the means for cooking it (we could talk about the means of production but I'd be banned!) are prohibitive for the working person. It's cheaper to volunteer your hard-earned money to the profiteers and speculators who bloat their cheap meat and veg with water and salt. Quality raw food is for the elites, we and our families must be slaves to fast-food sub-restaurants if we are to remain un-indebted.

I would eat out a lot as well, but I wouldn't be broke because of it. That's just madness.

I like eating out too. I'm not good at cooking (though not particularly bad either) and I have no wish to learn. Just a question of priorities.
