Fetac Calculator?

    I am looking for a fetac calculator to see if I got a distinction or not.

    I got something like 79.55 my tutor said he checked it on the fetac site and its a distinction do you think its a distinction?

    FETAC rounds up, so 79.55 is a distinction.

    As said above, FETAC rounds up, but if you're that close but not quite at the point where they can round up, you should appeal. There may have been a mark or two missed somewhere that could bring you up to a distinction. I appealed a merit and was brought up to a distinction, but I don't know what % I had or how close I was. It costs €20 but you get it back if you are successful.

    When the tutor inputs that result on the fetac computer system, the system will automatically round it up. An external examiner then could possibly bring it back to merit of they disagree with it. So don't consider any results 'in the bag' until your final results arrive. They are provisional until then.
