Aye, must be The Tribe you're thinking of. Ran for 5 seasons (52 episodes in each), but RTÉ only showed the first and a few episodes from the second. You can buy all the DVDs in Tower Records and it's well worth the purchase. I was a big fan when it came out and got all the DVDs as soon as they became available.

But it definitely exist mate. €50 is as good as yours.
