GLB runs early hours of saturday morning in Australia. I presume this will be on ATR? Also where would one get prices for this?

Lots of prize money on offer, and will be having 2 runs down under.

Good to see the horse back

The adventures of GLB kept me very amused last year.ran nearly every 2 or 3 weeks, whether at 6,7 or 8 f. Pissed home at Haydock with Murtagh, always a good each way bet.

    25s available on Bet365.

Go to Horse Racing, Australia, Saturday Racing & Rosehill Race 7.

7s also available on the place.

I forgot to back this myself (but did tell a few others) but this is one of the best tips in a long time on this site, how he was such a big price is just mind boggling..

    great finish

I'd have been counting the place money a furlong out
the winner looked home and hosed there

Fecking brilliant. A fiver and boom. Nearly had a fit when I woke up this morning, was on a bus when I read this thread yesterday, so bravo to the op who picked up.

Just seen this now, fantastic ride from the jockey! Well done everyone on him, a great shout

Runs in the T J Smith in Oz saturday, on at 8's but see he 13/2 now. A real tough test this one so hope he picks up some decent prize money at the very least.

I don't really fancy Gordon Lord Byron in this. Even though he has won top sprints Im still not convinced he's a real 5/6f specialist of the type he will face here. The one I really like is the favourite Lankan Rupee. An impressive winner of the Lexus last time and has the potential to be the next Aussie sprinting star. He does however have to prove he handles a wet track. Zoustar is another big danger. When he is on song he has an explosive turn of foot, but he does have a tendency to throw in the odd stinker.

The contest has been won by stars like Black Caviar and Takeover Target in the past so I hope this years winner can throw in an impressive performance and book a ticket to Ascot in June.

Agree with distance, the trip the last day is prob his best but i think the ground will suit him perfect. I really hope he has a huge run.

He is been well backed and 13/2 into 7/2 with PP in the last few hours. still 5/1 available elsewhere. I'm on at 8's which i think is a fair price.

Also alot of luck in running will be needed with such a large field.

Rain coming down hard here now. No sign of it relenting.

That's explains the plunge on GLB. If Lankan Rupee can handle heavy, then he should win. If not, then I think Gordon Lord Byron will go close. Buffering has form on heavy but I doubt if he'd be good enough.

GLB is 5.5 fixed odds and 5.9 tote.

Think I'll have a dabble on Tiger Tees today.

Shameful to abandon GLB I know but I'm a tart I suppose.

Yep, looking at the tv there they did a quick interview with Tom Hogan and looked like Irish weather there.

Wow. An impressive win for Lankan Rupee. Broke smartly and kicked clear dispelling all doubts about the wet surface. I do hope he goes to Royal Ascot now even if his trainer Mick Price seems slightly hesitant about it now.

On GLB, I think if you exclude Lankan Rupee he wasn't far off the placed horses. He got outpaced when the winner kicked on but stayed on at the end.

Australian sprinting would have to be on a shambles if Gordon could go and be their top sprinter.

Any more plans for him down there?

Gordons work rider is after coming back from Ascot to ride Calle Aneto in the next in Limerick now.

    Edit. Well beaten.
