Right. I acquired this in August 2012 as my dream bike. The fill spec is below and I should point out that it constitutes an upgrade from the original spec. I immediately upgraded the brakes (from Tektro 580s to SRAM Rival), wheels (Ritcheys to MAvic Aksiums) and tyres (from Continental Ultra Sports to GP4000s) and swapped the original compact crankset for an SRAM Rival 39-53 double. I also replaced the original 12-25 105 cassette for a 12-27 (for climbing) and a new 105 chain.

Unfortunately a still undiagnosed respiratory condition (once sporadic, now apparently permanent) meant that I was only able to ride the bike on a handful of occasions. I've certainly done no more than 500km on it. I was hanging on to it to see if I might be able to address the health issue but I have now come to the conclusion that it would be better off in the hands of someone who might actually use and enjoy it.

For what it's worth, I loved riding it: I set it up with an identical set of gear ratios to my original (alu/carbon) bike. It hums over the flat ground and when climbing, it felt like I'd two extra gears.

I'm looking for around €850 for the bike. I would describe it's condition as "very close to new". The current model retails for €1200 but I think the upgrades justify my asking price.

I live in Phibsboro if anyone wants to take a look at the bike. Pics to follow.

    Any interest in splitting ?
I'd be interested in just the frameset.

    Any pics please.

Apols - the pics slipped my mind. I'll take some tonight (if it's still bright when I get home) and put them up immediately.

@Mamax: I hadn't considered splitting but I'm not entirely averse to it. Assuming we're talking about the frame and fork (and I'll have to check whether the seatpost is frame-specific), what kind of price would you have in mind?

    Pics as promised.

    And a couple more.

Very nice bike but I can't afford it right now, and it would be a sin to split it.
I'll keep an eye on this thread and maybe make an offer before the end of the month if it's not sold.
