Retainers

    Hi guys,
A few years back i got braces to correct my lower front teeth, once they were removed the orthodontist gave me a permanent retainer (Its a piece or thin wire attached to the back of said teeth as far as the canines) and it has kept them in place. However i am now noticing my lower canine is starting to be pulled inwards and twisting, this is causing the tooth directly behind it to start to move outward.
At the moment its grand but i do not want it getting any worse so my question is , would getting regular retainers keep it in check and if so how much are they generally? Cant really afford to get more braces so hope they'll do!
    Thanks :)
