    Hi Fred,

We had to organise this recently for my father in law. We rang the airport (phone number is in the link below). They told us just to go through security & past the duty free and they will take you from there. No need to book.

Arriving back into Dublin airport would be a different story. You need to book this and they will collect you from the plane and drop you to a door near to passport control.

    Hope this helps.

    Best of luck,
    JT.

Never understood why they didn't have an option to take this (for people without mobility issues) for a couple of euro. They would make a fortune.
I would have expected it to be part of the Airport Genie package, but it's not.

    Hi

When Booking your flights you can request it.

On aerlingus.com its on the page where you fill in your names

Select "Special Assistance" and ask for "would like to be met at check in and assisted:" to and from airport steps.

Ryanair also have it on their site.

You then get a wheel chair to bring you to the gate , and one waiting for you when you arrive at your destination.

There is no extra charge for it. (http://www.rte.ie/news/2004/0130/46114-disability/

Any travel agent should be able to book it for you if you are going with a travel agent.

    Hi

Wheelchair is provided by them, and an airport employee pushes it.

Ryanair site is a bit messy to do it.

    You need to click
    "Assistance required to/from boarding gate"
    and then
    "Require – airport wheelchair "

and make sure you do it for both flights (if you are flying return)

    It should read
"Assistance required to/from boarding gate, Require – airport wheelchair"
    after you select everything.
