    Hi guys,

I'm doing a bit of research for my special topic for leaving certificate history and was wondering can someone help me.

The project is centred around St. Patrick's mother and baby home and people's experiences in it and I was just wondering does anyone know of any contacts/charities that would be willing to talk to me about the topic of institutional abuse.

    Anything at all would help.

    Thanks in advance,
    Elizabeth

You could start with One in Four http://www.oneinfour.ie. They have their roots in supporting survivors of institutional abuse. They might be able to direct you to someone who could help you. Sounds like an interesting project :)

Try the adoption forum here on boards. Sorry don't know how to put a link in

There were a few homes with that name. Have you a particular one in mind? The Ryan report would be useful for you.
