Out of date passport for nct?

    Have two vehicles for test tomorrow and cannot seem to find my licence any were??
    I have my passport but it's out of date.
    One is a car going for nct first thing in the morning and also a van in the afternoon. Will it do for both places ??????

    It worked for me anyway about a month ago and mine was 2 months out. My license was with NDLS..

    I would expect problems OP.
    NCT staff seem to be very strict about this "passport and driving licence only" nonsense.

    Alternatively you can ask someone else to go to present your cars.

    NCT site doesn't specifically state the passport needs to be valid.. They might not check the date unless it's out of date many years.
    Fingers crossed and a quick prayer might do the trick.

    As been mentioned, ask someone to come on your behalf. Or even as a passenger. ;)

    Anyway, they won't refuse to test your car(s), they just won't give you a cert until you show an ID. :)

    not ID, but passport or driving licence :p
