Mainly out of sheer laziness I have never bothered protesting about anything.. I have watched (and avoided) the types who gather outside Leinster house protesting about various issues,, probably over paid civil servents, crusty haired environmentalists and dole sponging wasters etc..

But there is one thing I can't stand its corruption in Ireland, and worst of all,, the apparant lack of accountability of those who engage in this rot on society.

So come join me for some 'down with this sort of thing' chants outside Leinster House on Sunday from noon.

P.S I am not turning up if it is cold or raining.. (and yes I'm serious)..

Define corruption, suggest a solution, and I'm with you all the way. Once the solution sounds vaguely plausible. And ditto on the "if it's raining or cold bit".

There ya go, you've given people a valid excuse not to spend time with their mothers this mothers day.

So everyone is invited so long as they don't work in the public sector, are an environmentalist, have long hair or are unemployed.

Marching to protest outside an empty dail on mothers day is a great idea. Did someone take a backhander to arrange the time and place?

Can we rule out any of the 100,000 "elite" who applied to the Guards to get their penalty points wiped, turning up? Or any of their extended families.

How many going to be there have a proper clean conscience.
Never worked and drawn, never asked a favour to be done on their behalf. Manipulated something for a particular outcome.
Never paid for a cash nixer knowing full well the person wasn't paying tax or was possibly on the dole??

Really. I'd say it leaves very few who should be out shouting about corruption and condemning others.

    It rules me out.

Nice to see Superman has joined the 21st Century and is trying so hard to win new fans.

I look forward to your cheap slogans and bile in anticipation.

Thank god for Fr Ted because if that show never existed Irish people would have nothing to say at protests (roll eye smiley)
