Hello, Does anyone on here have a Hyundai i10. I am looking for some info on it as my sister is looking to buy one. So if anyone has any details on how good or bad they are I would appreciate it. Thanks:) D.

Im currently looking at these too. Need a run around that is cheap on fuel.

Whatcar.com sings the praises of this and the VW Up in the super mini/city car class.

Had a look at the Up but feel the i10 offers better value for money, cheaper, longer warranty, and with the right spec/and any optional extras looks smarter.

From reviews I have been reading, avoid the lower bhp model (60 I think or there abouts) and opt for the 75.

Great little cars for city driving but if doing a lot of motorway driving, you may want to look at a heavier car.

I collected mine a little over three weeks ago now and have to say I have really taken to it.

It's not a car you're going to have the ultimate driving experience in but it's almost silent, nippy and it handles so very well. And I might be biased but I think it looks a lot better than the UP.

I have a dart along the motorway every day to get to uni and it's no bother to it, and I've managed plenty of overtaking in my 1.0 litre engine.

I have the deluxe model. The alloys and daytime running lights look really well but it's the extra features inside that really counted like the bluetooth and air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the remote locking.

My one regret, getting it in black, looks well but boy does the dirt show up on it!

I've driven the new one in auto and manual. I like it a lot. Auto is very slow but the manual is excellent, it's a nice drive.

The 998cc three-cylinder is the only one on sale in Ireland. It's cheap to run and a real sweet engine.

I'd agree with veronymus, it's not found wanting on the motorway. I'd also go for deluxe, the extras are well worth it!

Looks cool in white... but maybe even more difficult to keep clean than veronymus' black yoke!
