Ford mondeo 2010 1.8 making noise

    2010 Mondeo is making a swoosh noise when changing gears 1st into 2nd into 3rd,doesn't happen when coming down the gears! It's only started happening in the past week, should I be very concerned and does it need immediate garage attention to repair??
    Any help will be appreciated lads!!

    One possibility is that the intercooler hose for the turbo has popped loose. That can cause a swooshing noise. Take a look in the engine bay and check all the hoses are secure.

    I'll have a look at that and get back to you,cheers

    Checked that out and the hose all seems to be connected,am I right for saying this is the hose on front left side of the car as I'm looking into the bonnet(above the right wheel area)
    All seems ok there but swoosh noise continues

    Ya that seems to be the problem alright, would this all be covered under 6 month warranty?only got the car mid December
