    Hi guys i was just wondering if you have had a Pro K1 fight or any other pro combat fight can you have a amateur mma fight .

    Not sure. I think it would be disingenuous to imply lack of experience to the promoter though. You'd have to be put up against a top ammy fighter for it to be fair IMO. There is a broad spectrum of fighters in the amateur scene, from debutantes to seasoned fighters on the verge of going pro.

    Was going to come back and clarify this.

    As an example, Lloyd Manning is a top class Irish Judoka and recently had some amateur MMA fights. His second fight was vs a top amateur, and his third is vs another top amateur this April.

    There's no governing body in Ireland. So there's nothing in place to restrict anybody from amma fights. The promoters set their own rules. It's at their discretion.

    Not disclosing pro K1 exp is a pretty dickish move.

    k1 is not MMA so of course you can, but like said you disclose it to be fair on your opponent, therefore you will most likely fight a slightly more experienced MMA lad.
