Just wondering if this means anything? I'v missed out on one module and won't be able to catch up on it..

Tutor said I could still receive record of achievement?

I was hoping to progress to level 6 but can I do it with that?

Record of achievement is a minor award i believe.
It would be best to see requirements for the level 6 course & talk to course leader there & at your current course to see if your eligible.

I'm kinda screwed.. I done LCA so if I can't progress with FETAC i'm fecked....

Yes you should be able to get something out of it depending on demand for the level 6 course.
When I said minor award i meant it for that module only as you haven't finished it. I thought it was called a component cert that might help you if u look up on fetac site.
Course leader is the best person to talk to I'm not 100% accurate.

    just to be clear mate..

In my course I have 8 modules and work experience..

I'v completed 7 modules and work experience.. But I have not finished anything for only 1 module..

I'm sure I read i'll recieve a minor award for my effort? and not major award..

Why can't you just finish the module?

Complete the work? As in...cheat? Why can't you just complete it yourself? You clearly want the award?

It's a computer assignment and I messed 2 weeks of the brief ect.. I havnt a clue how to do it and the tutor is an ignorant f,ucker.. One of those that won't even take assignments off you if you don't meet his deadlines..

I missed his deadline and he want to ''move on''. I talked to one of the lads and he says he can either help me or do it for me.. for a small price, but I don't mind as i need to pass this course to progress... Hopefully he sticks to his word..

Have you checked with the college if they have a procedure for absences? Like extenuating circumstances? It sounds a bit like he's being unnecessarily difficult. Have you had a record of good attendance and handing work in on them? Do you have a doctors note or another good excuse for being absent? If you can answer yes to both the previous statements then he should be a bit more helpful.

Do not cheat or let your friend help you. Do you sign a plagiarism declaration before you submit work? That's a document where you state that you have not cheated or plagiarised your work. Colleges and universities take that extremely seriously and treat it as theft and your friend would get in just as much trouble as you. There is always a better option than that. Ask to meet with him or your course coordinator, tell the truth and ask for help and extra time.

It's very late to throw in the towel when you've done most of the work, but if you cheat, you would have been better off not doing the course at all, you don't what kind of consequences there could be if caught, for both of you, and colleges are very good at picking it up. If a potential employer asked your tutor for a reference, what do you think he would say if you had been caught cheating?
