rte player freezing on advert

Hi, I'm accessing rte player from overseas and have been able to watch the news no problem for a couple of years.

but most recently, both on chrome and IE, it just freezes on the poxy advert. No actual advert comes up, just a black screen.

Easy way around this?

I have the same issue on the PS3 (in Ireland) - it just sticks on the commercial breaks. I have to manually nudge the stream forward with the controller.

Probably get shot here but have you tried contacting RTE themselves OP?

The 'black screen' issue was driving me mental for last few weeks, this fixed it, Thank you very much!
